Steward's Report
Negative Nibbs and Ticket Confetti was slow to begin.
Designing (eased and turn head inwards at the 50m mark) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 11. Designing was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Ms. Maria Barber regarding Designing's racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Designing was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Barber pleaded not guilty to the charge. Designing was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Ticket Confetti - the winner of the event.
In accordance with LR 40.2, Lachlan Scott was issued with a warning regarding non–compliance with the GRV Dress Standards.
