Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 31.5 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17 degrees. Stewards dispensed with two requirements prior to Race 1, meaning greyhounds were no longer required to remain on course for the specified time, and that the parading of greyhounds was to occur, as the outside temperature had decreased to a reasonable level by the end of kennelling.
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Party Out Back.
Daintree Sniper was quick to begin. Ralph Wiggum and Bomb Over were slow to begin.
