Steward's Report
Control Bubba and Cheer Down were quick to begin. Harami was slow to begin.
Harami underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have laceration to the right foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Justin Illman regarding the racing manners of Harami in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Illman, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Cheers Chips collided with Control Bubba on the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms. Kate Gorman regarding the racing manners of Cheers Chips. After hearing submissions from Ms. Gorman, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
