Steward's Report
Ms. Kathleen Fogarty failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Brindle Motion for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Brindle Motion.
Orbost Pit and Dr. Yamir were quick to begin. Hurricane Lucy and Dr. Maverick were slow to begin.
Warrior Lisa (turned head outwards in the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Lindsay Fulford regarding Warrior Lisa’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Warrior Lisa was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Fulford pleaded guilty to the charge. Warrior Lisa was suspended for three months (3rd offence) at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
