Steward's Report
Uncle Ernest due to weight variance underwent a veterinary examination during the kenneling period – no injury or condition was reported.
Uncle Ernest – Late scratching at 6:40pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). Uncle Ernest is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Angela Bigham was fined $100.
Goblin was quick to begin. Challenger and Paw Maddox were slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Paul Galea and reminded him of his handling responsibilities pursuant to GAR 103(4), whereby a greyhound must not be carried from the parade area to the starting boxes. Mr. Galea indicated that a harness would be utilized for future starts.
