Stewards spoke to Ms. Samantha Bradley regarding Devil Can Fly’s racing manners in the back straight against Missy Who and again in the home straight against Paw Julia. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Devil Can Fly was charged with marring. Ms. Bradley pleaded guilty to the charge. Devil Can Fly was suspended for 28 days at all tracks (2nd offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Uncle Ernest – Late scratching at 6:40pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). Uncle Ernest is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Angela Bigham was fined $100.
Goblin was quick to begin. Challenger and Paw Maddox were slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Paul Galea and reminded him of his handling responsibilities pursuant to GAR 103(4), whereby a greyhound must not be carried from the parade area to the starting boxes. Mr. Galea indicated that a harness would be utilized for future starts.
