Steward's Report
An out of competition urine sample was taken from Colac Kid on 10 December 2025, pursuant to GAR 139.
A urine sample was taken from Daysea's Rory upon arrival at the course.
Daysea's Rory was quick to begin.
Colac Kid underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail on the right-hind. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms. Mia Sharp regarding Colac Kid's overall performance in the event. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Ms. Sharp to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Colac Kid in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post-race blood sample was taken from Daysea's Rory - the winner of the event.
Supplementary Report 15/12/2025: kennel representative notified Stewards in accordance with GAR 122 that Colac Kid was found to have injured ligaments in the left hock.
