Steward's Report
Jazzy Hope and Barefoot Elsa were quick to begin. Champagne Cuddle and Blue Vendetta were slow to begin.
All Whiskey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing on the left-hind. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Stephen Elsum regarding the racing manners of All Whiskey approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Elsum, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued. In arriving at this decision, Stewards noted that a technical issue meant that the head-on vision was unavailable in the home straight for the entirety of today's race meeting. Without this head-on vision in the home straight, Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that All Whiskey's racing manners approaching the winning post had met the required threshold to warrant a charge pursuant to any of the relevant Rules of Racing (GAR 123, 124 or 125).
