Steward's Report
The Stewards were advised that the track was deeply harrowed on 7th October 2025.
Pursuant to GAR 75(7), Steward Mr. C. Hon did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Rugrat Tommy – Late scratching at 2:53pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). Rugrat Tommy is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Mr. Colin Baker was fined $100
Hunterview Jack was quick to begin. Wave In Sea was slow to begin and raced wide approaching the home turn.
Wave In Sea (checked and raced ungenerously approaching the home turn then lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Martin Hanke regarding the racing performance of Wave In Sea. After hearing submissions from Mr Hanke, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Supplementary Report on 15/10/25: Trainer Martin Hanke notified Stewards in accordance with GAR 122 that Wave In Sea had an injury to the left deltiod.
