Steward's Report
Aussie Wagyu was quick to begin. Caved In and Steeple were slow to begin.
Strenuous (checked on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 7. Strenuous was found to have injuries to the left shoulder and both back muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative, Ms Ruby Kennedy) regarding the racing manners of Strenuous soon after the start. After hearing submissions from Ms. Kennedy, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
