Steward's Report
River Grey and Fozzy's Boy were slow to begin.
River Grey (visibly eased soon after the start), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the left gluteals muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer - Mr G. Lane regarding the racing manners of River Grey soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, River Grey was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Lane pleaded guilty to the charge. River Grey was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
