Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Big Bruce.
Lindenow Jimmy, Brindle Motion and Big Bruce were slow to begin.
Stalking Douglas (lame following the event) underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left wrist sprain, right biceps injury and sand graze. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Big Bruce (severely checked and fell on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on left hind hock. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
