Pretty Elle and Riverbank Willow were quick to begin.
Riverbank Willow was severely checked in the first turn and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg carpal sprain injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
