Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Club Official Mr M Callanan did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Bone Stock
Fortunate Kiss and Doongalla Ghost were quick to begin. Kiwi Cruise and Bone Stock raced wide in the home straight.
Compton Chief, uncompetitive, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 3 – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Joshua Mcdonald regarding Compton Chief performance and racing manners throughout the event. After hearing submissions from Mr. Mcdonald, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Compton Chief unsatisfactory. Compton Chief must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
