Steward's Report
Ninja Cuddle was slow to begin.
I'm Kenny was slow to begin and raced wide in the event.
Hard Tag (marred Ninja Cuddle in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury and a right pectoral muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr David Kerr regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Hard Tag was charged with marring. Mr Kerr pleaded guilty to the charge. Hard Tag was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Sandown and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
