Steward's Report
The Stewards were advised that the track was medium harrowed on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Lamia Margarita – Late scratching at 6:10pm on 14 April, 2025 when Paul Cusack reported the greyhound to have shoulder soreness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Club Official - Mr. M Callanan, did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Ms. Samantha Bradley failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Edina for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
Fortunate Kiss was quick to begin. Moody Blue was very slow to begin (4L).
He's With Me raced wide in the home straight.
Moody Blue (lost ground in the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the left sartorius muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
