Steward's Report
Inter Trigon – Late scratching at 10:16am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a right hind gracilis injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards questioned Trainer, Mr. T. Interligi, regarding the presentation of Inter Trigon at today's race meeting. After taking evidence from Mr. Interligi and the On-Course Veterinarian, Stewards fined Mr. Tony Interligi $100 pursuant to GAR 76(1)(a) for failing to examine Inter Trigon prior to the appointed scratching deadline to ensure the greyhound was free of injury.
Waltzing Embers was quick to begin.
Waltzing Embers – Proved difficult to box and will be monitored in future events in accordance with GAR 106.
