Steal The Show – Late scratching at 1:52pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to right hock sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Weeona Boris – New declared weight of 35.0kg, last raced at 33.6kg.
Pretty Treasure was quick to begin. Cloncurry Gold and Cuban Lad were slow to begin.
Weeona Boris underwent a post-race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Tony Tufo regarding the racing manners of Weeona Boris approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Tufo, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
