Steward's Report
A pre–race urine sample was unable to be obtained from Normal Life, a post–race [urine/blood/hair] sample was subsequently taken.
Aston Botan and Lily Lala were slow to begin.
Aston Botan, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Craig Treherne regarding Aston Botan’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Aston Botan was charged with marring. Mr. Treherne pleaded guilty to the charge. Aston Botan was suspended(2nd offence) for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
