This event was delayed by one minute due to operational matters.
Due to a technical malfunction, no back straight head on footage was available for this event.
Tiny Mac and Glory Shine were quick to begin. Pressure Down and Aston Daicos were slow to begin.
Glory Shine underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right front foot. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G Hunt regarding Glory Shine’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Glory Shine was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr G Hunt pleaded guilty to the charge. Glory Shine must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
