Steward's Report
It was reported to Stewards that the track was medium harrowed on Thursday, 19 June, 2025.
Kiwi Cruise – Late scratching at 5.25 am when Trainer - Mr. D. Petersen reported the greyhound to be ill (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Court's Edge and Bullet Force were quick to begin. Nando Blast was slow to begin.
Tinker Rose (checked off Nando Blast approaching the first turn subsequently faltered and pulled up on the first turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder, left scapula and left gracilis muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
