Steward's Report

Jumbuk Aret and Little Narla were quick to begin. Go Now and Paw Linden were slow to begin.

Jumbuk Aret (eased approaching the winning post, and fell after the line) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left stifle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Ben Joske regarding Jumbuk Aret's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Jumbuk Aret was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Joske pleaded not guilty to the charge. Jumbuk Aret was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
