Steward's Report
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Zipping Swazi.
Perfect Revenge and Always Mia were quick to begin. Two Bays and Black Cabang were slow to begin.
Always Mia underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury and a right hind toe spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms Susan Trim regarding Always Mia’s racing manners turning off the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Always Mia was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Trim pleaded guilty to the charge. Always Mia must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
