Steward's Report
In accordance with LR 40.2, Mr. Paul Herry was issued with a warning regarding non–compliance with the GRV Dress Standards.
Curdievale Rhode, Larni Lou and Belair Blue were slow to begin. What Odds Billy was very slow to begin (4L).
What Odds Billy (very slow to begin and trailed the field throughout) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re examined following race 3. No apparent injury was reported. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Paul Herry to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of What Odds Billy in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during the event.
Boggy Pub, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr. Mark Roberts regarding Boggy Pub's racing manners turning into the home straight and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Boggy Pub was charged with marring. Mr. Roberts pleaded guilty to the charge. Boggy Pub suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
