Ella's Glory was quick to begin. Nambrok Nick was slow to begin.
Paw Veldron underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Tammy Kennedy-Harris regarding Paw Veldron’s racing manners turning into the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Paw Veldron was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Kennedy-Harris pleaded guilty to the charge. Paw Veldron must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
