Got Immunity was quick to begin. Hamish Rose, Dr. Leoni and Johnson Street were slow to begin.
Extreme Beast underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Stephen Creighton regarding Extreme Beast’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Extreme Beast was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Creighton pleaded guilty to the charge. Extreme Beast was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
