Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Elusive Barb.
Snitch Adams and Pat Card were quick to begin.
Hay Riley (turned its head outwards entering the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Lindsay Fulford regarding Hay Riley’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Hay Riley was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Fulford pleaded guilty to the charge. Hay Riley was found guilty and suspended for three months (3rd offence) at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
