Steward's Report
White Harp was quick to begin. Pinaroo Flyer was slow to begin.
White Harp (checked turning off back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left metatarsal and a torn right toe nail. A 5 day stand down period was imosed.
Twilight Rusty (eased turning off the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 5. Twilight Rusty was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr. Sean Vantaarling regarding Twilight Rusty’s racing manners turning off the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Twilight Rusty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Vantaarling pleaded guilty to the charge. Twilight Rusty was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
