Steward's Report
She Shy and Lamia Margarita were quick to begin. Distorted Humour was slow to begin.
Distorted Humour (checked soon after the start and subsequently fell) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and left shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
She Story (checked soon after the start and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left front toe. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Kyle Brooks regarding She Story's overall performance. Mr. Brooks declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. After hearing submissions from Mr. Brooks, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of She Story unsatisfactory. She Story must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr Kyle Brooks regarding the racing manners of She Shy soon after the start. After hearing submissions from Mr. Brooks, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
