Steward's Report
Reiko Tedesco – Late scratching at 9:56am when Ms. Michelle Mallia reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate, pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w), before any future nominations will be accepted.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to a holding for a Nowra greyhound race.
Chappy's Thief was quick to begin and raced wide soon after the start. Aussie Supreme was slow to begin.
Rapid Heart underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain and a right pectoral muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Rapid Heart - the winner of the event.
