Steward's Report
Be Gracious, Jumbuck Bayeh and Woodside Vixen were slow to begin,
Jumbuck Bayeh underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr. Ben Joske declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. Joske regarding Jumbuk Bayeh’s performance and racing manners on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Joske, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Jumbuk Bayeh unsatisfactory. Jumbuk Bayeh must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Shima Lexie underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left foreleg laceration. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
