Suffolk Park (severely checked on the first turn and subsequently fell) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right radius/ulna fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Warden Ozzie (severely checked on the first turn and lost ground thereafter) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Paw London was quick to begin. Come Find Me was slow to begin.

Daysea's Rory – Distance: 525m, Weight: 31.4kg, Box 3, Time Run: 29.929 (Splits: 5.10 & 17.73). A sample was taken in accordance with GAR 136, having been presented for an Exhibition Trial.

Honey Bunny was quick to begin. Catch A Cod was slow to begin.

Honey Bunny underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Dale Chapman regarding the racing manners of Honey Bunny approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Chapman, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

A post–race urine sample was taken from No Iron Team – the winner of the event.

Big Boy Andre was slow to begin.

Big Boy Andre (faltered turning into the back straight and subsequently pulled up) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track turning into the back straight and deemed it suitable for racing.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Bun Quake.

Missin' The Bug and Infra Rock were slow to begin.

A post-race urine sample was taken from Valletta Diva - the winner of the event.

Magic Dark Star and Reiterate were quick to begin. Tudor Peak was slow to begin. 

Michigan Girl was quick to begin. Tappet and Star Stay were slow to begin. 

Star Stay (marred Smoldering Decay turning out of the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left-fore foot spike wound. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mrs. Emma Scott regarding Star Stay’s racing manners turning out of the front straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Star Stay was charged with marring. Mrs. Scott pleaded guilty to the charge. Star Stay was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Smoldering Decay (severely impaired turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary exmaination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Got A Pulse, Twilight Jet and Paw Whitley were quick to begin. Jacaerys Bale was slow to begin.

Fleetwood Eros and Duplicitous were quick to begin.

White Crest was quick to begin.

Whodat Duchess and Oaklyn Bale was quick to begin. Hold Me Closer was slow to begin.

Nizhoni – Late scratching at 6:00pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Representative Mr Peter Nicholls informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Nicholls that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Aston Gozo, Betsie Bale and White Shiraz were quick to begin.

White Shiraz (visibly eased turning into the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind foot spike wound. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Jason Formosa regarding White Shiraz’s racing manners turning into the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, White Shiraz was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge. White Shiraz was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
