Conditions

1. The custodian agrees to keep fostered at the above address all greyhounds agreed by Greyhound Racing Victoria and the Greyhound Adoption Program and the custodian as the subjects of fostering by the custodian.
   
2. If the Greyhound becomes ill, the custodian will immediately report to GAP, and if required, deliver the dog for inspection or veterinary service as directed by GAP staff.
   
3. The custodian will, at the custodian's, look after the Greyhounds and provide the Greyhounds with water, shelter, exercise, health care, and reasonable treatment, and carry out all instructions relating to the debriefing of the Greyhounds as requested by the Cooridinators of the Program, and upon request, will deliver the Greyhounds in good order to the Greyhound Adoption Program. The Program will make available to the custodian, at the Program's cost, reasonable food requirements for the benefit of the Greyhounds.
   
4. The custodian will permit the Co-ordinator (or authorised agent thereof of the Program) to inspect any fostering Greyhound at any time, should this be requested.
   
5. If, despite reasonable care, the fostering Greyhound becomes lost, no liability will be attached to the custodian. However, the incident should be immediately reported to the Co-ordinator and all reasonable steps for its recovery should be commenced promptly by the custodian at its cost.
   
6. The custodian agrees that the Greyhounds will not be used for experimental or research purposes of any description, and that the custodian is not a dealer of an agent of a dealer.
   
7. The Greyhound Adoption Program reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, by written notice to the custodian in which case the custodian agrees to deliver up the Greyhounds to the Program or the Program's nominee.
   
8. The custodian will take full responsibility for the Greyhounds, including responsibility for any damage or injury caused by the a Greyhound while it is in the care or premises of the custodian. The custodian will indemnify the Program and Greyhound Racing Victoria for any costs or expenses incurred by them relating to any Greyhound while it is in the custodian's care or possession.
   
9. The custodian understands that all equipment supplied to this foster home is the property of the Greyhound Adoption Program and must be returned if this agreement is terminated.
   
10. The custodian will ensure that at any time a Greyhound is taken into any public place it will always be appropriately leashed and muzzled (including off leash dog parks) and controlled by the custodian or a person authorised by the custodian.
    
11. The custodian will never have more than two Greyhounds under his/her control when those Greyhounds are taken into public places.
