WARRAGUL GREYHOUNDS

Please note, after having punched in calendar usage for both Warragul Greyhound Racing Club & Warranor Junior Football Club, the following co-usage conflicts:

Friday 26^th April 2024
Saturday 15^th June 2024

Please note: - That all entry into Logan Park will be strictly from Galway Street NO access will be permitted via Howitt Street. This is to ensure a safe environment for junior football, with the all-road access gates near the football ground being locked and closed until all games are concluded.

Emptying of dogs will be restricted to trial car park and surrounding areas

2024 PINK DIAMOND SERIES

The 2024 Pink Diamond series kicks off in June with heats across the state and 12 feature finals being held at Shepparton on Saturday 15th June.

SALE GRC - TRACK HARROW WEDNESDAY APRIL 17

The Sale Greyhound Racing club would like to advise participants that a deep harrow and grade was completed on Wednesday 17 April.

GAP INTAKE MODEL IS CHANGING

Currently for a greyhound to be accepted into GAP it must pass a GAP pre-entry assessment (GAPPEA) however, from 1 June 2024, the way greyhounds are accepted into GAP will change significantly.

WARRNAMBOOL TRIALS

Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club will NOT be trialing on the following dates:

Thursday 25 April – no trials after the last. (Anzac Day)

Tuesday 30 April – no trials. (Warrnambool Cup preparation)

Wednesday 1 May – no trials after the last. (Warrnambool Cup)

Geelong - Race meeting to be held on Friday 26th April - Nominations close at 8:00am on Wednesday 24th April.

Horsham - Race meeting to be held on Friday 26th April - Nominations close at 9:00am on Wednesday 24th April.

Warragul - Race meeting to be held on Friday 26th April - Nominations close at 10:00am on Wednesday 24th April.

Geelong - Race meeting to be held on Saturday 27th April - Nominations close at 11:00am on Wednesday 24th April.

The Meadows - Race meeting to be held on Saturday 27th April - Nominations close at 12:00pm on Wednesday 24th April.

Sale- Race meeting to be held on Sunday 28th April - Nominations close at 1:00pm on Wednesday 24th April.

Bendigo- Race meeting to be held on Sunday 28th April - Nominations close at 2:00pm on Wednesday 24th April.

Sandown (SAP)- Race meeting to be held on Sunday 28th April - Nominations close at 8:00am on Friday 26th April.

Ballarat- Race meeting to be held on Monday 29th April - Nominations close at 8:30am on Friday 26th April.

Traralgon- Race meeting to be held on Monday 29th April - Nominations close at 9:00am on Friday 26th April.

Warrnambool- Race meeting to be held on Monday 29th April - Nominations close at 10:00am on Friday 26th April.

Shepparton- Race meeting to be held on Monday 29th April - Nominations close at 11:00am on Friday 26th April.

Geelong- Race meeting to be held on Tuesday 30th April - Nominations close at 12:00pm on Friday 26th April.

All other nominations close times remain unchanged.

GRV phone lines will be open for Scratchings Only on Thursday 25th April from 7:30am-9am & 3:00pm-4:30pm

NCA 2024 COURSING SEASON

Please note the first coursing meeting for the 2024 coursing season will be held at Lang Lang on Sunday 28th April. Please note an earlier nomination close time of Wednesday 24th April due to the ANZAC Day Public Holiday.

Nominations for all coursing meetings close at 8:30am on the Thursday prior to the coursing meeting and can be completed online or via GRV.

Scratchings for a coursing meeting will be finalised on the day prior to the meeting at 4pm.

For the 2024 coursing season, a Puppy is any greyhound (male or female) that is whelped on or after 1/03/2022.

WARRAGUL GRC - DARNUM SLIPPING TRACK

Darnum Slipping Track is now open and fully operational.

Please note, that dog waste is a requirement of use to be picked up and placed within the bin that the club has provided on-site.

UPDATED DRESS STANDARD - EFFECTIVE 22 APRIL 2024

The GRV Board has approved minor amendments to the Racing Dress Standard Guidelines and Policy which come into effect on Monday 22 April, 2024.

Key changes include the removal of restrictions on daylight savings for shorts, skirts and dresses, and manufacturer/private logos, noting that minimum requirements for shorts, skirts and dresses, and acceptable logos now apply.

SANDOWN TRACK HARROW

17/04/2024

The Sandown Greyhound Racing club would like to advise participants that a harrow to the depth of 75 mm was completed on Saturday 13 April as a part of the recent track renovation.

Due to the unexpected delay in commencing the track renovation at the Sandown Greyhound Racing club last week, our next trial session will be Friday 19 April commencing at 9am.

Greyhounds not available for racing are displayed as "Retired". Full retirement details are available to GRV and will be summarised in GRV's Annual Report.
